This was fun! Top Gear came by our office last week and shot this segment about our team’s first cars.
This is really amazing. I’m just bummed that I was out of the office that day…
HA! My first car was a 1976 Chevy Monza Poo-Brown hand me down. The horn didn’t work so my buddy installed a truck horn that was operated by a door bell by the shifter…hilarious for a H.S. student in 1987

So, yes. I have bitched about the weather. However, today I made a discovery, or a rediscovery from childhood. Ear muffs. With the same coat hat and gloves I was warmer today with the addition of some new fangled behind-the-head ear muffs.
So this just goes to show you (me) that it takes more than a warm coat (and/or layers) and good gloves and a thick hat. With the important areas covered, one can manage the chill that drives down the streets of New York City.

Étretat is a commune in the Seine-Maritime department in the Haute-Normandie region in northern France. Étretat is best known for its cliffs, including a famous natural arch. These cliffs and the associated resort beach attracted artists including Eugène Boudin, Gustave Courbet and Claude Monet, and were featured prominently in the 1909 Arsène Lupin novel The Hollow Needle by Maurice Leblanc.
Hundreds of specially trained dogs form Italy’s corps of canine lifeguards and are deployed each summer to help swimmers. Unlike their human counterparts, these lifedogs can easily jump from helicopters and speeding boats to reach swimmers in need of a rescue.
